Coaching for Organizations

Have your employees continued to be stressed and overwhelmed with their workload after the Covid pandemic?

Are they not as effective as you’d like them to be?

Are managers struggling with the people-piece of their role?

Are employees expressing concerns about their manager to Human Resources?

I offer a coaching perspective and approach to help employees and managers build resilience, partnership, and wellbeing at the individual and departmental/team levels.

“What people need is a good listening to”.

One of the main reasons people leave their jobs is due to a frustrating relationship with their supervisor (unclear communication, too much emphasis on a directing and controlling leadership style, not listening to understand, not providing adequate resources/support for employees to do their job effectively, and an overemphasis on critique vs. appreciation, to name a few examples).

When people feel heard, understood, and acknowledged, they are better able to work within the parameters of their role and be more content - even when they don’t get all their needs met.  And when organizations invest in the support, development, and empowerment of their employees, good work gets done with more ease and collaboration. Building resilience in senior leaders, managers, and employees is key to a highly effective and sustainable organization.

SERVICES

  • to address specific challenges, such as navigating difficult relationships and conversations, addressing stress and mounting burnout, personal challenges that interfere with work quality, goal/project achievement, and more.

  • to support their development, particularly in relation to supporting employees and managing their own stressors.

  • to support learning partnerships instead of the old ways of directing and demanding (or ignoring the people piece of managing) that no longer work with today’s employees.

  • to support integration of key people-leading and communication skills.

  • seen from my coaching lens so senior leadership can address them in order to retain valuable employees and improve work life quality and effectiveness.

“Lynne came into my life at a very low point, when the Covid pandemic hit and my daily work and personal life changed overnight. I was finding it hard to do the basics of my job. My development started with our very first conversation and I've been growing and learning ever since. She has taught me how to find clarity in my thoughts, add structure to my day, to use my voice to support myself, and the importance of adequate self-care. I've learned to set clear goals, build more meaningful relationships with coworkers and family, and I've built self-confidence that I've never had before. Lynne's caring, non-judgmental approach provides a safe place for me to speak freely and to take full advantage of her coaching. My overall wellness has improved as a direct result of working with Lynne and I am very grateful for her.”
